This waterfall winch is suitable for towing, anchor handling and mooring. The winch is in good condition. The winch drums are equipped with a mechanical clutch and each drum has a band brake. Both winch drums are equipped with a chain driven pre-coil and can be corrected manually. Drive A 60 kW electric motor drives the gearbox of both winch drums. This drive can be replaced for a hydraulic drive. Drums Both drums have a clutch and a band brake. The release makes it possible to engage or disengage the winch drum (turn or stop). The drum is locked in a 'stop' position with the aid of a belt brake. When the drum is disconnected, the belt brake blocks the drum from rotating. Both the release and the belt brake are pneumatically operated, but this can be converted to a hydraulic control.
